Pepper Crab Curry
This is an adaption of the recipe for Pepper Chicken.
Here is what I did:-
3 tablespoons of black peppercorns, 3 sliced yellow onions, 6-7 pips of smashed garlic and 2 quartered tomatoes with 3 tablespoons of grated coconut. In a pan add some oil then throw in the black peppercorns, followed by the sliced onions and garlic, stir till aromatic and follow with the grated coconut and the tomatoes. Stir well and let this cook for about 6-7 minutes then allow this masala to cool.
In a blender add some sliced green chilies (about 3) then some sliced ginger and add on the cooled masala. Blend with a but of water and halfway add a bunch of coriander leaves and blend further.
In a deep pan, add some oil, once hot throw in one cinnamon stick and star anise, some curry leaves and cloves then add in the blended ingredients and stir well. Leave aside for 5- 10 minutes whilst stirring
