Bangers & Mash

This turned out quite well and was very easy to make.

One yellow onion sliced
1 can diced tomatoes
2-3 pips of garlic chopped
1 sachet of onion gravy
Salt & Pepper

In a pan add a tiny bit of oil and stir fry the sausages (I had beef and chicken chorizo or you may want to grill the sausages in the oven.

Remove from heat, add the butter and the onions and stir well before adding the garlic. Once translucent and tender add the chopped tomatoes and oregano. Let this simmer a bit before mixing the onion sachet (mix the sachet contents with hot water). Taste for salt and if necessary add more salt and pepper. Lastly add in the sausages and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes. (You can also leave the contents in the oven to simmer before serving).

Serve over mash and we had this with a side of Baked Broccoli with Gouda cheese. Enjoy!
