Earl Grey Tea Cookies

This recipe was so simple and it turned out brilliantly, thanks to Tracy of Shutterbean. She did this and it was adapted from a Martha Stewart recipe.

All you need are:-
2 cups all purpose flour
3 tablespoons finely ground Earl Grey tea
1/2 tsp salt
2 sticks unsalted butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon finely grated orange zest

Put butter, sugar and zest in a mixer and mix for about 3 minutes till fluffy. Then reduce speed and add the tea followed by the flour a little at a time.

Divide dough in half and place in baking paper, roll into logs or any shape that you desire (You will see I failed at shaping my logs properly:-)Freeze the logs which you should cover in a paper towel for about an hour, then remove and cut them and bake them for about 10-12 minutes.

These are so delish ! Enjoy!

Sometimes it is something simple you could have
done yourself, but you took it to the mechanic down the road and it cost you a fair amount of money.
