Brown Butter White Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies

The title itself is such a mouthful but please know this was really simple and fuss free.

Start with melting 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter in a pan for a bout 5-7 minutes until some brown bits form. Leave aside to cool.

You will need:
1 cup of brown sugar
2 tablespoons of milk
1 large egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup coarsely cut macadamia nuts (but I used hazelnuts)
1 cup white chocolate chips

In a mixer mix the sugar and the butter for about 3 minutes then add the 1 egg and mix for a minute. Next add the essence and the milk and combine. With a spatula, mix in the entire flour ingredients and then fold in the nuts and the choc chips.

Scoop teaspoons full and lay on baking paper and bake in a pre heated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

Note - this is a super sweet treat ! Recipe was adapted form a cooking blog that I have now forgotten how bad of me but just wanted everyone to know this was the best cookie that I have ever baked!
